Director, AI Data Center Deployments

We are seeking a Director to lead deployment execution for next‑generation AI data centers. This role is built for a leader who thrives in high‑velocity environments, understands the demands of AI‑optimized infrastructure, and can turn complex deployment programs into operational reality. You will oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of large‑scale facility deployments across multiple regions, ensuring speed, quality, and reliability at every stage.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead end‑to‑end deployment execution for AI‑focused data center builds, expansions, and retrofits across multiple sites.

* Drive pre‑construction and deployment readiness, including scope definition, design alignment, long‑lead procurement, and risk identification.

* Coordinate multidisciplinary teams—design, construction, networking, hardware, operations, commissioning—to ensure seamless deployment sequencing.

* Manage aggressive AI‑driven timelines, ensuring critical path items (power, cooling, network, GPU clusters, racks) are delivered and installed on schedule.

* Oversee vendor, contractor, and integrator performance, ensuring alignment with deployment standards, safety requirements, and quality expectations.

* Implement scalable deployment frameworks that support rapid global expansion and repeatable execution.

* Ensure infrastructure meets AI workload requirements, including high‑density cooling, power distribution, and specialized mechanical/electrical systems.

* Provide clear, concise reporting to senior leadership on deployment progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.

* Champion operational excellence, driving continuous improvement across deployment processes, tools, and cross‑team collaboration.

Qualifications

* Extensive experience delivering hyperscale or AI‑optimized data center deployments, including high‑density mechanical and electrical systems.

* Strong background in pre‑construction, deployment planning, and construction execution for mission‑critical facilities.

* Proven ability to manage large, complex, multi‑site deployment programs with tight timelines and evolving requirements.

* Deep understanding of AI infrastructure needs, including liquid cooling, high‑density racks, power scaling, and network integration.

* Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to align diverse teams and drive clarity in fast‑moving environments.

* Demonstrated success working with major cloud, AI, or colocation providers.

* A practical, solutions‑oriented mindset focused on execution, accountability, and building things that matter.
