Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Manager, Digital Strategy & Transformation to join a Digital organization on a 6-month contract. This role supports the Digital Strategy & Transformation Director in shaping, communicating, and executing digital strategy initiatives while enabling strong day-to-day team operations.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who is highly organized, an exceptional communicator, and comfortable working in ambiguity. This role blends strategy support, executive storytelling, operating model enablement, and execution rigor, with occasional hands-on support for digital product initiatives.
Key Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Strategy & Transformation Support
* Support digital strategy development, refreshes, and prioritization
* Structure ambiguous problems and synthesize insights into clear options and recommendations
Executive-Ready Storytelling
* Develop and refine executive-level presentations, briefing materials, and one-pagers
* Ensure clear narratives, decision points, and concise messaging for leadership audiences
Meeting Preparation & Follow-Through
* Prepare agendas, pre-reads, meeting decks, and logistics
* Capture decisions, track action items, and escalate risks or issues as needed
Operating Model & Ways of Working
* Support operating model evolution, governance discussions, and ways of working improvements
* Document processes, frameworks, and operating principles
Reporting & Financial Support
* Consolidate status updates, metrics, and reporting across workstreams
* Assist with budget tracking, forecasting inputs, and leadership reporting
Team Enablement & Operations
* Maintain core team assets (org charts, onboarding materials, team sites)
* Support onboarding, access setup, and tool coordination
* Enable consistent use of templates, tracking, and operating cadence
Change Management & Communications (as needed)
* Support communications and adoption activities for organizational or process changes
Product Support (as needed)
* Provide hands-on support for product-related work such as research synthesis, roadmap inputs, prioritization, or data analysis
Must-Have Qualifications
* Experience: 5+ years in strategy, transformation, management consulting, chief of staff, product operations, or digital program roles
* Strategic & Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving ability with experience structuring ambiguity into actionable plans
* Executive Communication: Proven ability to create executive-ready materials; advanced PowerPoint skills essential
* Stakeholder Management: Ability to collaborate and influence across functions and seniority levels
* Organization & Execution: High attention to detail with strong coordination, prioritization, and follow-through skills
* Education: Bachelor’s degree required
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
* Experience supporting digital strategy or digital transformation initiatives
* Background in a product-led or agile environment
* Familiarity with agile tools (e.g., Jira, Rally, Confluence)
* Experience in digital product lifecycle (discovery to delivery)
* Experience in financial services or regulated environments
* Change management or operating model design experience
The expected base salary range for this position is $70 – $80 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and internal equity.
