Senior DevOps Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our growing AI & Software Engineering team. This role is ideal for a cloud-native infrastructure expert who thrives in modern environments built around automation, scalability, security, and reliability.

You will design, implement, and optimize secure, production-grade cloud platforms while leading CI/CD automation initiatives and managing containerized workloads. You will collaborate closely with engineering, data, and AI teams to support microservices and ML-driven systems in a high-availability environment.

This is a key technical leadership role with real ownership and impact.

What You Will Do

* Architect, implement, and optimize scalable cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure

* Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions

* Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or Bicep

* Deploy, monitor, and scale containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS)

* Define monitoring, logging, and alerting strategies for high system reliability

* Lead incident response and root cause analysis for production systems

* Collaborate with engineering and AI/ML teams to support cloud-native workloads

* Enforce Git best practices including branching strategies and code reviews

* Mentor engineers and promote DevOps best practices across teams

Required Experience & Qualifications

* 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or SRE roles

* Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure (networking, compute, storage, security, monitoring)

* Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines

* Advanced Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform / Bicep)

* Deep knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes / AKS in production

* Proficiency in Python and/or Bash for automation

* Experience supporting PostgreSQL or other SQL databases in cloud environments

* Strong Git and version control expertise

* Experience leading production incidents and driving reliability improvements

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)

Nice to Have

* Experience with MLOps or supporting AI/ML production workloads

* Familiarity with SRE principles (SLIs, SLOs, error budgets)

* Cloud security best practices and IAM expertise

* Experience operating large-scale cloud-native platforms

* Master’s degree in a related technical discipline
