As a Data Scientist specializing in NLP and Generative AI, you will architect and refine the next generation of language solutions. This role focuses on the end-to-end lifecycle of Large Language Models (LLMs)—from initial prompt engineering and embedding strategy to the deployment of sophisticated Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) workflows.

You will be responsible for bridging the gap between raw text data and actionable intelligence, ensuring model outputs are high-quality, contextually accurate, and performant through rigorous evaluation and fine-tuning.

Core Responsibilities

LLM Architecture & Workflow Design:

Build and optimize RAG pipelines to ground generative models in proprietary data, utilizing embeddings and semantic similarity to improve retrieval accuracy and context relevance.

Prompt Engineering & Text Generation:

Develop and iterate on complex prompting strategies to steer model behavior, ensuring creative, safe, and precise text generation across diverse use cases.

Model Optimization:

Lead model evaluation and tuning efforts (e.g., RLHF, PEFT/LoRA) to enhance domain-specific performance, reduce hallucinations, and optimize inference costs.

NLP Research & Implementation:

Apply advanced NLP techniques to solve business challenges involving sentiment analysis, entity recognition, and multi-modal integration.

Technical Proficiencies

Generative AI:

Expert-level knowledge of LLM frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex) and model providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face).

Vector Operations:

Mastery of embeddings and vector databases (Pinecone, Milvus, Weaviate) for high-dimensional search and semantic similarity.

Performance Metrics:

Proficiency in evaluating language models using both automated benchmarks (ROUGE, BLEU, G-Eval) and human-in-the-loop frameworks.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) Disclosure
