We’re looking for a Data Scientist to build production-ready ML systems and intelligent AI solutions used by Hedge Funds, Banks, and Energy companies worldwide.

As a Data Scientist at NorthGravity, you’ll work at the intersection of classical machine learning and modern generative AI, building scalable solutions that go from idea to production.

NorthGravity is a fast-growing Chicago/Kraków-based startup delivering cognitive data collection, predictive analytics, and data management solutions for Hedge Funds, Banks, and Energy companies.

Founded in 2017, we’re building a system of intelligence that simplifies data and supercharges analytics - helping clients gain clarity and precision in decision-making.

🛠️ What You’ll Do

* Develop, deploy, and maintain predictive models and ML pipelines

* Work with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini) and open-source models

* Design and implement agent workflows, including tool & function calling

* Evaluate and improve prompt quality, agent performance, and model outputs

* Apply time series analysis, forecasting, and anomaly detection

* Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Business teams

* Contribute to proprietary data and analytics platforms

🎯 What We’re Looking For

* 2–3+ years of experience in Data Science or Machine Learning

* Strong Python skills (pandas, scikit-learn, XGBoost)

* Experience integrating and orchestrating LLMs

* Understanding of agent-based systems and prompt engineering

* Experience with model deployment and optimization

* Familiarity with AWS, Docker, CI/CD

* Market knowledge a plus

* Strong communication skills in English

* Proactive, problem-solving mindset

* Python | scikit-learn | XGBoost | TensorFlow / PyTorch

* OpenAI / Anthropic / Gemini APIs

* Open-source LLMs (LLaMA-family, Mistral, etc.)
