Position: Data Science Expert

Type: Contract

Compensation: $70–$120/hour

Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

* Design realistic, end-to-end data workflows that challenge today's best models.

* Grade agent performance on complex scenarios in analytics and business intelligence.

* Build scenarios involving SQL analysis, dashboard builds, and A/B test design.

* Develop ETL/ELT pipelines, dbt models, and data quality monitoring.

* Work on warehouse schema design and Airflow/Dagster DAGs.

* Collaborate asynchronously and work independently with a focus on long sessions.

Qualifications

Must-Have

* 3+ years as an analytics engineer, BI analyst, data scientist, or data engineer.

* Working fluency in at least two of: advanced SQL, dbt, warehousing (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift), experimentation (A/B tests), pipeline orchestration (Airflow, Dagster), metric modeling, Python for analysis.

* Comfortable with data artifacts: SQL queries, dbt models, experiment readouts, dashboard specs, schema diagrams.

* Clear written communication; able to articulate reasoning and data decisions step by step.

* Drawn to long-horizon, challenging problem sets rather than one-off microtasks.
