Data Scientist - 12-month contract - Brussels

📍 Hybrid – Office presence Tuesday & Thursday

We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our team and work on high-impact analytics and AI projects supporting operational performance, safety, and sustainability.

You will develop advanced data science solutions using machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI to solve complex business challenges.

Key Responsibilities

* Design and build machine learning and AI models for real-world applications

* Work on projects such as security analytics, punctuality optimisation, energy consumption analysis, and generative AI

* Translate business challenges into data-driven solutions

* Collaborate with operations, IT, and business teams

* Ensure best practices in model development, validation, and deployment

Requirements

* Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, AI, or Statistics

* 5+ years experience in Data Science with industrial applications

* Experience building ML/AI models and deploying them in production

* Experience with cloud-based data platforms

* Strong communication and problem-solving skills

* Fluent English
