Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Data Science Engineer based in Vancouver, BC, with the flexibility for some remote work. In this role, you will design and implement scalable data pipelines for Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes, build robust data models, and manage data warehousing solutions to support analytics and business intelligence. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will develop and optimize data-driven workflows, perform data analysis to generate valuable insights, and contribute to the improvement of data technologies and strategies. You will also be responsible for ensuring data quality, accuracy, and accessibility across the organization.
Qualifications
* Strong expertise in Data Engineering and Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes
* Solid experience with Data Modeling and Data Warehousing
* Proficiency in Data Analytics, including tools and techniques for deriving actionable insights
* Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and storage solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus
* Experience with programming languages such as Python, SQL, or Scala
* Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field
* Ability to collaborate effectively in a hybrid work environment
