Role Overview

We are hiring a Data Engineer to build pipelines and warehouses that power analytics and machine learning. In this role, you will design and operate the data platform including ingestion, transformation, warehouse modeling, and observability. The ideal candidate is strong in Python and SQL and has experience with the modern data stack.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and build ETL and ELT pipelines that handle high-volume data.

- Architect data warehouses, lakes, and semantic layers.

- Write production Python (Pandas, PySpark) and performant SQL.

- Orchestrate workflows with Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster.

- Ensure data quality, lineage, and observability.

- Collaborate with analytics and ML teams on data requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 2+ years as a data engineer, analytics engineer, or backend engineer with data focus.

- Strong Python and SQL.

- Experience with at least one warehouse: Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Databricks.

- Data modeling fundamentals (Kimball, One Big Table, or Data Vault).

- Experience with Git, testing, and code review.

- Strong written communication.

Preferred Qualifications

- Streaming platforms (Kafka, Flink, Spark Streaming).

- dbt, Iceberg, or lakehouse architecture experience.

- Cloud platform experience (AWS, GCP, Azure).

- Feature stores or embedding pipelines.

- Experience with data catalog or governance tools.
