Compensation: Competitive salary commensurate with experience, qualifications, and location. Indicative range: $105,000 – $170,000 (USD equivalent), plus benefits.
Role Overview
We are hiring a Data Engineer to build the pipelines and infrastructure that power analytics, machine learning, and product features. The role designs systems that move data reliably at scale and make it usable for everyone who depends on it.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines moving data into the warehouse
- Model and document datasets that downstream teams can trust
- Maintain the data warehouse and orchestration tooling
- Partner with analytics and ML teams on data needs
- Monitor pipeline health and resolve production issues
- Improve data quality, lineage, and governance over time
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 3+ years in a data engineering role
- Strong SQL and Python skills
- Experience with modern warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks)
- Experience with orchestration tools (Airflow, Dagster, Prefect, dbt)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Comfort with data modeling, dimensional design, and performance tuning
