Data Engineer

We're working with a NASDAQ-listed global leader in digital sports entertainment and gaming technology on this exciting opportunity. We are looking for a platform-focused Data Engineer to supercharge a world-class Business Intelligence ecosystem using Sigma Computing and Snowflake.

This is a high-impact role where you will bridge the gap between complex data infrastructure and actionable business insights. You’ll be the go-to expert for Sigma administration, empowering analytics teams to build bold, AI-driven solutions that shape the future of the fan experience.

The Role

* Lead the administration of Sigma Computing, overseeing workspace organization, complex permissions, and access control logic.

* Act as the technical subject matter expert for BI enablement, conducting deep-dive demos, workshops, and training sessions to drive platform adoption.

* Partner with Data Engineering and Product teams to monitor Snowflake performance, usage patterns, and reliability of the reporting layer.

* Maintain the operational integrity of the BI ecosystem through proactive troubleshooting, lifecycle management, and participation in an on-call rotation.

* Champion BI governance standards, including naming conventions, folder hygiene, and automated content delivery best practices.

What You'll Need

* 1-3 years of professional experience in Data Engineering, Analytics, or BI Platform Administration.

* Proven hands-on experience as an administrator for modern BI tools (Sigma Computing preferred, or Tableau, Looker, or Power BI).

* Advanced SQL proficiency with a deep understanding of how reporting layers interact with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake.

* Strong technical communication skills with the ability to translate complex data structures into easy-to-understand concepts for business users.
