About the Role

* Job Title: Data Engineer

* Location: 100% Remote, USA

Key Responsibilities

* ADO Development & Power BI Reporting:

* Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards for DC initiative health tracking.

* Design and develop Azure DevOps (ADO) for reporting on initiative work items.

* Transform initiative data to show impact on datacenters/sites.

* Design reporting frameworks for program- and portfolio-level views.

* Data Engineering & ETL:

* Design, implement, and maintain ETL processes for data extraction.

* Write and maintain logical and physical data models for reporting.

* Optimize data structures and pipelines for performance improvement.

* Test data pipelines, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrections.

* Standardization, Governance & Quality:

* Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance.

* Partner with tooling and engineering teams for alignment with standards.

* Produce executive-ready dashboards for leadership reviews.

* Collaboration & Communication:

* Partner with Initiative Delivery and DCPE PMs.

* Work with senior management and stakeholders for data requirements.

* Translate complex data into clear narratives for technical and non-technical audiences.

* Improve reporting solutions based on feedback.

Minimum Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science or related field.

* 2-4 years of experience in ADO and Power BI development.

* Experience with database technologies and the ETL process.

* Knowledge of at least one scripting language, preferred DAX.

* Strong written and oral communication skills.

* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

* Demonstrated history of success.

* Desire to work with data and help businesses make data-driven decisions.

Desired Qualifications

* Experience with data governance and compliance.

* Knowledge of data visualization tools.

* Experience with cloud platforms like Azure.

* 100% Remote, USA

Top 3 Skills:

* 2-4 years ADO Development

* 2-4 years Power BI Development (DAX experience required)

* 1-4 year AI Agent development

Salary and Other Compensation: The salary for this position is between $115,000 - $135,000 USD annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
