About The Role
As a Data Engineering Analyst, you will:
* Support passionate project teams developing customer solutions through exploratory data analysis.
* Use your knowledge of statistics, programming, data modeling, and advanced mathematics to recognize patterns, identify opportunities, ask business questions, and make valuable discoveries that lead to better business decisions.
* Provide feedback on data visualization techniques and opportunities.
* Stay up-to-date on current trends in AI, cloud computing, and big data within the data community.
* Be introduced to implementing big data architectures with tools such as Hadoop, Spark, Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Kafka.
Qualifications
Your Profile
* Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field.
* Current title: Data Engineering Analyst.
* Proven ability to apply a creative mindset to projects.
* Passion for technology.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work in English.
* You excel in direct contact with external clients and as a project consultant.
* Proven leadership experience in an academic, extracurricular, or professional setting.
* Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to reflect and make timely decisions.
* Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment.
* Interest in starting a career in technology consulting upon graduation.
* Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technology field.
Your Skills
* Experience with at least one key analytics tool (R, SAS, SPSS, Tableau, Power BI, SQL, etc.).
* Knowledge of data mining, analysis, and modeling. * Knowledge of statistical analysis, quantitative analysis, and forecasting/predictive analysis.
Compensation at Avanade varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Avanade provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time employment, for roles that may be hired as set forth below.

The base pay range shown below is intended as a guideline to reflect the majority of offers for this role.
It does not represent a maximum limit — in some cases, actual compensation may exceed the range where appropriate.
Salary: British Columbia/Ontario - 31$ to 37$ per hour
