What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

* Maintain and update a comprehensive cybersecurity program, including a formal Cyber Security Plan

* Conduct regular cybersecurity awareness training for City employees, including simulated phishing exercises

* Deploy and manage enterprise-grade anti-malware and anti-virus solutions across City systems

* Perform periodic vulnerability scans of networks and systems, ensuring compliance with relevant security standards

What Is Required (Qualifications)

* Proven experience in cybersecurity or IT security management

* Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., CJIS, PCI-DSS, HIPAA)

* Experience with incident response planning and execution

* Ability to conduct training and educate staff on cybersecurity best practices

* Familiarity with patch management and vulnerability assessment processes

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

* Previous experience in a public sector or governmental cybersecurity role

* Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH

* Knowledge of current cybersecurity threats and trends

* Experience with deploying and managing enterprise-grade security solutions

* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
