Role Description

We're looking for a curious, purpose-driven writer to help us grow our reach. You'll create content that educates, inspires, and drives learning, from blog posts and social media to grant narratives and impact reports.

This is an unpaid volunteer internship position with a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Interns may receive community service hours, a letter of recommendation, mentorship, and a certificate of completion.

This is a hands-on opportunity to develop impactful content while helping expand access to technology education in underserved communities.

Qualifications

* Proficiency in Web Content Writing and general Writing skills

* Experience with Content Strategy and the ability to craft compelling narratives

* Strong Research skills to gather insights and accurate information

* Excellent Proofreading skills to ensure quality and error-free content

* Ability to work independently in a remote environment and adhere to deadlines

* Passion for education, technology, or nonprofit work is a plus

* Strong communication skills and attention to detail

* Open to students and recent graduates (18+). No prior professional experience required

What you'll do

* Write clear, original articles on selected topics including computer science, AI, and STEM learning

* Translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging content for broad audiences

* Contribute to social media content, newsletters, and outreach campaigns

* Collaborate with team members to expand global reach

Commitment

Flexible - approximately 3–5 hours per week, fully remote. Minimum 3-month commitment preferred. Rolling applications; start date is flexible.
