The work
Our Compliance team in the Netherlands partners with leading financial institutions to navigate regulatory change, implement RegTech solutions, and embed Responsible AI principles. We help clients modernize compliance functions and integrate innovative technologies, enabling them to remain compliant while driving efficiency and innovation. As a Consulting Manager, you will lead workstreams and oversee delivery for projects that combine compliance, technology, and data. You’ll guide teams, manage client relationships, and ensure high-quality outcomes while contributing to thought leadership and business growth.
You will work on
Regulatory Change & RegTech
Lead analysis and change project on Dutch and EU regulatory developments (e.g., AMLR 2027, DORA, MiCA, EU AI Act).
Manage implementation of RegTech solutions to streamline compliance and enhance operational resilience.
Translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable strategies and operating models for banks, fintechs, and payment service providers.
Responsible AI
Drive adoption of Responsible AI principles in compliance projects, ensuring ethical, transparent, and explainable use of AI.
Oversee initiatives leveraging generative AI and workflow automation to improve compliance processes.
Data & Innovation
Apply advanced analytics and AI to identify and mitigate risks such as money laundering and financial crime.
Explore emerging technologies like machine learning and blockchain for compliance applications.
Team & Collaboration
You will lead project teams within Accenture’s Risk & Compliance practice, working closely with senior stakeholders and experienced consultants.
You’ll collaborate with global experts and leverage Accenture’s Responsible AI frameworks and innovation assets.

Here's What You'll Need
Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Financial Law, Business Administration, Economics).
5-8 years of experience in compliance, risk, or financial services, including project or team leadership.
Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and technology-driven transformation.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; fluent in English (Dutch is a plus).
Ability to lead teams, manage delivery, and drive client engagement.
Bonus points if you have
Certifications such as ACAMS, ICA, or Agile/Scrum.
