The Song CMT Industry Specialist (Senior Manager) is a strategic Business Development Lead dedicated to driving growth through Accenture Song’s core functional offerings. This role is responsible for identifying, shaping, and closing large-scale digital transformation opportunities that help companies across the Communications, Media, and Technology spectrum evolve their business models. You will combine deep industry expertise with Song’s unique capabilities in Marketing, Design & Digital Products, Sales, Service, and Commerce to solve complex challenges like infusing Service Design into Customer Journeys, creating Agentic AI in Commerce audience and Customer technology modernization. Central to this role is the ability to weave Data and Generative AI into every proposition, moving CMT clients from traditional operations to high-growth, "intelligence-first" enterprises. As a Senior Manager with 5+ years of leadership experience, you will orchestrate cross-functional teams to solution for client’s end-to-end solutions that drive both immediate efficiency and long-term customer relevance.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive Song GTM Offerings: Lead the business development lifecycle by positioning Song’s core pillars—Marketing (precision engagement), Design & Digital Products (product innovation), and Sales, Service, and Commerce (transactional excellence)—within the CMT sector.
Embed Data & AI Strategy: Architect solutions that leverage Data and Generative AI to personalize content delivery, automate complex customer service interactions, and optimize media spend for CMT clients.
Strategic Client Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor to C-Suite executives, translating industry shifts into actionable roadmaps for Commerce (new revenue streams) and Digital Products (next-gen user experiences).
Originate & Qualify CMT Opportunities: Drive the full sales cycle, focusing on high-value transformations that modernize the Service function and reinvent the Marketing stack for broadcasters, telcos, and tech firms.
Solution Orchestration: Collaborate across Song practices to design "Better Together" propositions, ensuring that Design-led thinking is backed by robust technology and data architectures.
Commercial Accountability: Take ownership of CMT-specific sales and revenue targets, ensuring the commercial viability of platform-led transformations.
Ecosystem Alignment: Own strategic relationships with technology partners (e.g., Salesforce, Adobe, Google) to co-create industry-specific GTM assets.
Preferred skills, education, and experience:
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree (minimum) with Honours; MBA or Master’s in a technology or business field preferred.
Leadership Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role, with 10+ years of total experience in CMT business development, sales, or management consulting.
GTM Functional Expertise: Proven ability to sell and deliver solutions across Marketing, Sales, Service, and Commerce, with a deep understanding of how Design drives product adoption.
Data & AI Fluency: Strong understanding of how Data architectures and Generative AI can be applied to CMT use cases, such as churn prediction, hyper-personalization, and automated content creation.
Sales Excellence: A proven track record of reaching and exceeding multi-million dollar revenue targets for complex enterprise software or professional services.
Industry Domain Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of the CMT value chain, including digital service monetization, subscriber management, and platform-based business models.
Relationship Management: Exceptional ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and build influence with senior executives at clients and technology partners.
