Role Description

This is an equity based full-time remote role for the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer (COO). The COO will focus on designing and implementing operational strategies, optimizing business processes, and building a robust organizational structure to support growth. Responsibilities include driving sales and marketing initiatives, conducting detailed market research, and fostering external partnerships. The COO will collaborate closely with other leadership team members to ensure the company’s strategic goals are achieved while maintaining day-to-day operational oversight.

Overview

We are looking for a COO / Operator Co-Founder to take full ownership of execution, team performance, and day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

1. Operational Leadership

* Own day-to-day operations across the business

* Translate strategy into clear execution plans

* Build and optimise processes that scale

2. Team Management & Accountability

* Lead, manage, and develop the team

* Set clear goals, KPIs, and expectations

* Run effective team meetings and performance reviews

* Address underperformance directly and constructively

3. Execution & Delivery

* Ensure projects are delivered on time and to standard

* Maintain consistent progress across all functions

* Drive focus, prioritisation, and follow-through

4. Systems & Structure

* Implement tools, workflows, and reporting systems

* Create clarity in roles, responsibilities, and communication

* Bring order to ambiguity

5. Partner to CEO (External-Facing Founder)

* Act as the internal counterpart to a highly external, deal-driven founder

* Capture and operationalise opportunities generated through partnerships

* Provide a grounding force in decision-making and execution

* Priorities are clear and consistently executed

* Growth is steady, measurable, and scalable

* Opportunities generated externally are effectively delivered internally

* Strong operator with experience in early-stage or scaling companies

* Naturally structured, organised, and detail-oriented

* Comfortable managing people, including difficult performance conversations

* Calm, consistent, and resilient under pressure

* High ownership mindset—takes responsibility for outcomes, not just tasks

* More process-driven than visionary (complements, not duplicates, the founder)

* Not focused on external sales or partnerships
