What we're building

Fanoni is a clinical AI platform that combines a full electronic health record with an AI that understands how medicine is actually practiced. Drug safety, prior authorizations, care gaps, billing, specialist workflows — all in one place, working together. The platform is live today.

Most physicians spend more time fighting their EHR than caring for patients. Fanoni was built to change that. Every tool in the platform was designed around what a provider actually needs during a clinical day — not what a hospital administrator asked a software team to build ten years ago.

We have 23 specialized clinical AI agents covering primary care, oncology, psychiatry, infectious disease, geriatrics, pediatrics, chronic disease management, prior authorization, clinical trial matching, genomics, drug intelligence, and more. Each agent has access to live medical databases — FDA, DailyMed, PubMed, ClinicalTrials.gov, PharmGKB, and others — so the answers it gives are grounded in real clinical evidence, not generic responses.

We also built the infrastructure that holds it all together: insurance eligibility verification, AI-assisted billing and coding, prescription management with pharmacy search, scheduling, secure fax, lab tracking, and a morning clinical brief that prepares the provider before the first patient walks in.

This is not a prototype. It is a running system. Providers can log in today.

Why we need you

The engineering is done. What moves this company forward now is a clinical voice — someone who has sat across from patients, felt the frustration of broken tools, and can walk into a clinic and say "I helped build this."

Physicians do not buy software from websites. They do not respond to cold emails from engineers. They buy from people they trust — people who have stood where they stand, who understand what a 12-patient morning looks like, who know the specific pain of a prior authorization denial on a Friday afternoon.

That person needs to be you.

Healthcare is one of the last industries where trust still drives every major decision. A physician co-founder does not just add credibility — they change the entire nature of the sales conversation. When a provider asks "does this actually work in a real clinic," the answer needs to come from someone who has worked in one.

What you'll own

* Be the face of Fanoni to clinicians, health systems, and the broader medical community

* Shape the clinical direction of the product — what gets prioritized, what gets built next, what actually matters to a provider on a Tuesday morning

* Build relationships with the first 10 to 20 provider customers who will become the foundation of this company

* Represent Fanoni at medical conferences, physician entrepreneur events, and in every room where healthcare decisions are made

* Set the clinical standards for how Fanoni's AI is used responsibly and effectively in practice

* Work directly with the technical team to make sure what we build reflects how medicine is actually practiced

* Hold the CMO title and everything that comes with it — including a seat at every important table

Who you are

* A practicing or former clinician — MD, DO, NP, or PA

* Frustrated with the current state of EHRs and the tools physicians are forced to use every day

* Entrepreneurial by nature — you have thought about building something before, or you have already tried

* Someone with a network in medicine — colleagues, former classmates, physicians in your specialty who respect your judgment

* Ready to commit real time to this — not a weekend side project, but a genuine commitment to building a company

* Based in the United States, ideally Texas, but open to fully remote

You do not need a business background. You do not need to know how to code. You need to understand medicine from the inside and be willing to bet on yourself.

What you get

* Meaningful co-founder equity in a company with a live product and a real market

* The CMO title from day one

* A platform that is already built — you are not joining to wait for something to exist

* The chance to define how AI enters clinical practice at the ground level, before the large companies figure out how to do it

* A technical co-founder who will handle everything on the engineering side so you can focus entirely on the clinical and commercial side

* The ability to say you helped build something that changed how medicine works

About the founder

Fanoni was founded by Dafe Smith, a software engineer and AI builder who has spent the last year building the entire platform from scratch — the EHR, the AI agents, the clinical tools, the infrastructure, and the integrations. The product is live at ehr.fanoni.ai. The clinical AI is live at fanoni.ai.

This is a real company with a real product looking for the right clinical partner to grow it.
