About The Role
We're looking for cinematography professionals and advanced film students to help train the next generation of AI systems to understand visual storytelling. Your expertise in camera work, shot composition, and scene structure will directly shape how AI perceives and describes film — work that matters at the frontier of AI development.

What You'll Do
* Analyze film clips and describe camera movement, framing choices, pacing, and blocking with precision
* Identify scene boundaries and break down visual storytelling into structured, annotated summaries
* Evaluate camera angles, shot composition, and lighting characteristics using established cinematography principles
* Produce beat-by-beat scene analyses following standardized formatting guidelines
* Maintain professional judgment and accuracy across a high volume of visual content reviews
Who You Are
* Background in cinematography, film directing, editing, or formal film school training
* Ability to describe visual scenes with depth and specificity — without relying on dialogue
* Strong structured writing skills with a knack for translating what you see into clear, analytical language
* Detail-oriented and comfortable re-watching clips to ensure accuracy
* Self-motivated and reliable working independently in an async environment
Nice to Have
* Experience with script coverage, storyboarding, or pre-visualization workflows
* Understanding of narrative scene structure and storytelling fundamentals
* Familiarity with AI annotation or data labeling workflows
