Helios is building the next generation of AI infrastructure. We deploy modular data centers directly at renewable energy sources like solar and hydro. The goal is simple: take unused clean energy and turn it into high-performance compute for AI companies at a much lower cost.

We are a funded startup with strong partners in energy and manufacturing, and we are moving fast. We are looking for a Chief of Staff to work closely with the CEO and help keep the company focused, aligned, and executing as we scale.

Role Description

This is a full-time Chief of Staff role. Location is flexible, with a preference for Salt Lake City.

You will work directly with the CEO and help turn ideas into action. Your role will not always be perfectly defined and will require you to be a swiss army knife in an early stage, fast growing startup. This role is about execution. You will help decide what matters most, make sure the right things get done, and step in wherever the company needs support.

This is not an assistant role. You will own projects, push them forward, and be accountable for results. You will see how decisions are made and help shape how the company operates as it grows.

What You’ll Do

* Work directly with the CEO to turn strategy into clear priorities and next steps

* Use AI tools to automate internal processes and make the business run more efficiently.

* Drive important projects across product, engineering, operations, manufacturing, and partnerships

* Keep teams aligned on goals, timelines, and responsibilities

* Identify problems early and help solve them before they slow things down

* Support fundraising, investor communication, and key partnerships

* Help build internal systems, processes, and structure as the company scales

What We’re Looking For

* 5+ years of experience in roles that involve execution, problem solving, or building things

* Comfortable working in messy, fast-moving environments

* Strong judgment and the ability to prioritize what actually matters

* Clear communicator who can work across technical and non-technical teams

* High ownership mindset and willingness to step in wherever needed

* Startup or founder experience is a big plus
