Chief of Staff to CEO & CTO — Frontier AI Lab

Location: San Francisco

Compensation: Up to $250,000 base plus Bonus & Equity

This is a genuine Chief of Staff role — acting as the right hand and representative to the CEO and CTO. You will engage across strategy, product, research, fundraising, and operations to help grow the business at a vital stage of expansion. This is a high-impact, high-responsibility position for someone who flourishes in ambiguity and wishes to operate at the heart of a fast-expanding AI company.

Responsibilities

* Partner closely with the CEO and CTO on strategy, prioritisation, and execution

* Act as a proxy in meetings, decision-making, and follow-ups

* Drive cross-functional initiatives across research, product, and business teams

* Support fundraising efforts, including investor materials, narratives, and board decks

* Identify bottlenecks, surface risks, and ensure alignment across the organisation

* Help establish operating cadence and structure as the company scales

Requirements

* Experience in a high-growth startup (Series A–C), top-tier tech company, or similar environment

* Strong analytical and problem-solving ability; comfortable operating in ambiguity

* Exposure to fundraising, metrics, and company-level decision-making

* Ability to work effectively with technical and research teams

* Founder mindset — proactive, opinionated, and execution-focused

* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to Have

* Background in AI, deep tech, product, or venture

* Previous experience supporting senior executives or founders

* Experience preparing board materials and investor communications
