Full Description

About us

Lyceum is building AI-native GPU infrastructure for the next generation of deep-tech companies. We’re an early-stage team moving fast, obsessed with customer value, and focused on building a category-defining product.

Your mission

As Chief of Staff, your priorities mirror the CEO’s. Your objective is to improve the CEO’s operating leverage so Lyceum moves faster. You’ll sit at the intersection of strategy, operations, and execution: running cross-functional initiatives, preparing board and investor materials, managing internal cadences, and stepping into whatever gap the business needs filled next. At our stage, that means plugging gaps that don’t have a natural owner, spearheading strategic projects, and acting as a connective layer across the leadership team. This is a high-trust, high-autonomy crash course in company building for someone who thrives on ambiguity and wants to learn how a venture-backed infrastructure business operates from the inside.Fair warning: This isn't a 9-to-5. You'll move fast, juggle a lot, and regularly surprise yourself with how much you can get done in a week.

What You’ll Do

* Own the CEO’s operating rhythm: weekly leadership syncs, board prep, investor updates, OKR tracking, and internal communications

* Drive cross-functional projects end-to-end. From scoping to delivery across GTM, People, Sales, Strategy, Infrastructure and many more

* Identify operational bottlenecks, build lightweight processes, and hold the org accountable to execution

* Serve as a trusted sounding board and thought partner to the CEO helping with strategic decisions, hiring priorities, and org design

* Act as a liaison across teams, ensuring alignment and information flow as the company scales from 20 to 250+ people

What We’re Looking For

* 2-4 years in management consulting, high-growth startup operations, venture capital or other high pace environments.

* Strong technical literacy is highly preferred - ideally a CS degree or hands-on engineering experience, so you can engage credibly with our product and infrastructure teams without needing everything translated

* Exceptional written and verbal communication - you can draft a board memo, present to investors, and align a cross-functional team with equal precision

* Strong analytical skills: comfortable building financial models, dashboards, and operational frameworks

* High emotional intelligence: you’ll lead without direct authority and manage experienced stakeholders who may be senior to you

* High sense of urgency and bias towards action: you get stuff done on yourself immediately

* Comfortable with ambiguity and constant reprioritisation - your morning plan may be obsolete by lunch

* Fluent in English; German is a strong plus

Why us?

* Outstanding team: Work with some of the best engineers in the world, coming from hedge funds, big tech, AI startups and top universities.

* Once in a lifetime opportunity: Early-stage company in the fastest-growing market in the world

* Ownership: Shape how European AI companies access GPU compute

* European mission: Build sovereign, GDPR-compliant AI infrastructure for the next generation of deep-tech
