About The Role

We're looking for chemistry experts to help evaluate and improve the next generation of AI systems. Your deep subject knowledge will directly shape how AI understands and reasons through complex chemistry problems — from undergraduate fundamentals to graduate-level challenges.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role working alongside leading AI research teams. No prior AI experience is required — your chemistry expertise is what matters.

What You'll Do

* Design rigorous, advanced chemistry problems to test and benchmark AI performance across domains such as chemical engineering, biochemistry, and physical chemistry

* Develop clear, step-by-step solution walkthroughs with precise, logical reasoning

* Evaluate AI-generated outputs for scientific accuracy, depth, and quality of reasoning

* Collaborate with researchers to refine benchmarks spanning undergraduate to Master's-level chemistry topics

* Provide structured, actionable feedback that helps improve AI model capabilities

Who You Are

* Currently pursuing or have completed a Master's degree (or higher) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a closely related field

* Strong problem-solving and analytical reasoning skills across advanced chemistry domains

* Able to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and precisely in writing

* Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently and asynchronously

* No prior AI or machine learning experience required

Nice to Have

* Experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or evaluation frameworks

* Familiarity with AI language models or STEM benchmark design

* Background spanning multiple chemistry subdisciplines
