The Senior Lead Business Analyst at the Senior Manager level is a high-impact role responsible for bridging the gap between complex business challenges and world-class digital solutions. Operating at the core of Accenture Song’s Go-To-Market strategy, you will lead the discovery, definition, and validation of requirements across our primary offerings: Marketing, Design & Digital Products, Sales, Service, and Commerce. This role requires a visionary approach to business architecture, ensuring that every solution is grounded in Data and AI to drive measurable client value. As a leader with 5+ years of experience in high-level management, you will oversee teams of analysts, steer senior stakeholder alignment, and ensure that the "North Star" vision of a project remains intact from initial design through to engineering and scale. The role requires working in ambiguous client environments with many unknowns that required to be solved. Knowledge and extensive experience of waterfall, Agile and Hybrid SDLC methodologies is mandatory requirement. Experience is Design Thinking, Service and Experience design is critical to delivering value our clients. Required to manage a Business Analysis Centre of Excellence within Accenture Song.
Key Responsibilities:
Architect Song GTM Solutions: Lead the business-side orchestration of Song’s core pillars, ensuring that requirements for Sales, Service, and Commerce are integrated into a seamless, high-performance ecosystem.
Data & AI Strategy Integration: Define the data requirements and AI use cases (including Generative AI) that power hyper-personalization in Marketing and automated efficiency in Service functions.
Drive Design & Product Vision: Partner with Design and Product leads to translate user-centred research into functional specifications for Digital Products, ensuring technical feasibility without compromising on experience.
Strategic Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary interface between C-Suite business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, managing expectations and driving consensus on complex CMT and enterprise transformations.
Practice Leadership & Mentorship: Define the standards for the Business Analysis craft within Song Africa; grow the people, set the "gold standard" for documentation (User Stories, Process Mapping, Value Trees), and safeguard quality.
Commercial Value Realization: Build the business cases and ROI models that justify large-scale investments, tracking "Value Realization" throughout the project lifecycle.
Operational Excellence: Oversee the end-to-end requirement lifecycle, ensuring that Agile delivery teams ship at pace while maintaining high standards for ethics, accessibility, and responsible design.
Preferred skills, education, and experience:
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree (minimum) with Honours; Master’s or MBA preferred.
Leadership Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a leadership/Senior Manager role, with a total of 10+ years in Business Analysis, Systems Integration, or Management Consulting.
Functional Expertise: Deep experience in at least three of the Song GTM areas: Marketing, Sales, Service, Commerce, or Digital Products.
Data & AI Literacy: Proven track record of leading projects that involve complex data migration, Big Data analytics, or the implementation of AI/Machine Learning models.
Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of enterprise platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Adobe, Microsoft, SAP) and how they integrate into a modern digital stack.
Agile Mastery: Expert-level knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence, ADO), with experience leading large-scale, multi-stream delivery programs.
Communication & Influence: Exceptional ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical executives and build strong, trust-based relationships.
Cross Industry Knowledge: Experience working across industries is advantageous, however industry specialisation is also welcomed.
