As a Azure Data & AI Engineer at Avanade, you will translate business requirements into technical solutions, analyze current practices, and identify future opportunities. You will support data design services, work with the team to deliver architectures for data transformations, and build modern data pipelines, APIs, and data warehouses. You will also expose data to end users using modern visualization platforms and implement effective metrics and monitoring processes. Together we do what matters.

What you’ll do

* Build data-driven solutions from the ground.

* Translate clients' needs into solid requirements and implement technical solutions, diving into the retail industry business processes.

* Become an expert in Data Modeling, ETL and Orchestration delivery practices.

* Manage the process of inbound and outbound data flows using tools such as SQL, Python, ADF & Airflow.

* Maintain close contact with the customer in all the delivery moments and steps.

* Take ownership of your development, collaborating with team members (developers and business professionals).

Qualifications

Skills and experiences

* Strong acumen for data and its role in Enterprise/mid-market companies' scenarios.

* Experience in SQL and Python programming or a relevant Education for Analytical/Process Thinking. Any other programming and software development experience would be taken into consideration.

* Good experience in ADF & Airflow.

* Knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL DW, and Azure SQL

* Knowledge and a genuine interest in Data Science and Machine Learning.

* Strong team collaboration and experience working with remote teams
