What You'll Do

* Listen to and transcribe real-world ATC and pilot audio recordings with high accuracy

* Label speaker roles, callsigns, clearances, instructions, and readbacks

* Correctly capture aviation-specific terminology, abbreviations, and standard phraseology

* Follow structured transcription guidelines and maintain quality standards

* Complete task-based assignments independently on your own schedule

Who You Are

* Passionate about or familiar with aviation and air traffic communications

* Strong listener — able to parse fast-paced, radio-quality audio with clarity

* Detail-oriented and patient, even with noisy or complex recordings

* Comfortable working within structured guidelines and annotation frameworks

* Self-motivated and reliable when working asynchronously

No professional aviation credentials or certifications required — enthusiasm and a good ear go a long way here.

Nice to Have

* Experience as a pilot, aviation student, or ATC enthusiast

* Familiarity with ICAO/FAA phraseology and standard radio procedures

* Prior transcription or audio annotation experience

* Interest in AI, machine learning, or data labeling workflows
