About the Opportunity

A well-established private equity / hedge fund specializing in alternative investments across metals and energy markets is seeking 2–3 AI Workflow & Automation Interns to help explore how generative AI tools can improve internal workflows across the firm.

This is a hands-on opportunity to work directly with professionals across investment, operations, and technology teams to identify ways AI tools can streamline day-to-day tasks, improve efficiency, and support smarter knowledge workflows.

The firm currently licenses tools including Microsoft 365 Copilot and Claude, and is interested in experimenting with how these technologies can be applied in a practical business environment.

What You’ll Do

* Observe and document existing workflows across teams

* Identify opportunities where AI tools can improve efficiency

* Develop and test prompts using tools like Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude

* Help build simple internal prompt libraries and documentation

* Assist with lightweight automation or scripting where appropriate

* Support internal experimentation with AI-powered productivity tools

What We’re Looking For

* Current student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or related field

* Strong curiosity about generative AI and workflow automation

* Familiarity with tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or other LLMs

* Basic technical skills (Python, scripting, or automation tools are a plus)

* Strong problem-solving and communication skills

* Interest in applying technology within a financial services environment
