AI Engineer – Decision Intelligence SaaS

Munich (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

€65,000 – €85,000 + Equity.

We are supporting an impressive funded Decision Intelligence SaaS startup based in Munich that are building an AI-powered platform. They have strong enterprise demand. With a growing pipeline of customers, the focus has shifted from building to scaling and embedding AI deeper into the product.

This role is all about developing, building and applying Multi-Agent systems into production. We need somebody who can help to drive this forwards.

Key Responsibilities

* Build and deploy AI-powered product features, including chatbots and agent-style workflows

* Work hands-on with modern LLM tools and frameworks (e.g. Claude Code and similar ecosystems)

* Design and develop scalable backend systems using TypeScript and NestJS

* Own features end-to-end, from concept and design through to production release

* Integrate AI capabilities into a multi-tenant SaaS platform used by enterprise customers

* Collaborate with product and engineering teams to identify high-impact AI use cases

* Drive best practices around applied AI within a production environment

Ideal Profile

* 1+ years’ experience working with AI tools / LLM-based applications (applied, not theoretical)

* Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript and modern backend frameworks (e.g. NestJS)

* Experience building or contributing to production-grade applications

* Solid understanding of how to integrate AI into real-world product features

* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment with high ownership

* Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently

* Fluent in English; German is a plus

Tech Environment
