Artificial Intelligence Engineer

Key Responsibilities

* Design, build, and deploy AI/ML models for real business use cases.

* Develop and integrate LLM-based features, AI agents, automation workflows, and recommendation systems.

* Work with structured and unstructured data to create reliable AI pipelines.

* Fine-tune, evaluate, and optimize models for accuracy, latency, cost, and scalability.

* Build APIs and backend services to connect AI models with web or enterprise applications.

* Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to define AI requirements.

* Monitor model performance, troubleshoot issues, and improve AI outputs over time.

* Follow best practices for data privacy, security, responsible AI, and documentation.

Requirements / Qualifications

* Minimum 5 years of experience in AI, machine learning, data science, or related engineering roles.

* Strong experience with Python, ML libraries, and AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or similar.

* Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, or AI agents.

* Experience building production-level APIs using FastAPI, Flask, Django, Node.js, or similar.

* Strong understanding of data preprocessing, model training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.

* Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar.

* Familiarity with databases, data pipelines, Git, Docker, and CI/CD workflows.

* Ability to communicate technical solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Engagement Model

* This is a contractual role with a potential path to full-time based on performance and business needs.

* For U.S.-based engagements, applicable taxable documents such as W-9 and/or 1099-related documentation will be provided as required.

* Compensation will depend on experience, project scope, and engagement structure.
