An elite AI Quant team in Abu Dhabi. We are hiring an Agentic AI Engineer to work with large foundation models across multiple data modalities, including language, vision, multimodal, and structured data, using modern model architectures.

This is not a generic AI role and not a prompt-engineering position. You will help build next-generation machine learning platforms and tools, while contributing to meaningful, applied research. The team comprises highly accomplished engineers and researchers, with a strong emphasis on autonomy, ownership, and technical excellence.

What You’ll Do

* Build AI and ML frameworks used in research and trading systems

* Work with large foundation models across language, vision, multimodal, and structured data

* Collaborate closely with AI researchers and engineers to design reliable, scalable systems

* Ensure compatibility with modern cloud platforms, ML frameworks, and model architectures

* Design and run large-scale experiments to evaluate and understand model behaviour

* Analyse results and contribute to rigorous model evaluation and diagnostics

* Help create the core platforms and tools that support advanced AI research

What We’re Looking For

* Strong, hands-on experience with LLMs and foundation models

* Advanced Python skills in a Linux environment

* Solid understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI

* Hands-on experience with multi-GPU training and distributed workloads

* Proven ability to build high-performance, production-quality software

* Experience with performance optimisation and algorithm tuning

* Familiarity with parallel and distributed computing frameworks

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

* Genuine interest in research, technology, and quantitative problem-solving

* Comfortable using and adapting open-source tools and prototypes

* Clear communicator who thrives in small, fast-moving teams

* Motivated by a high-intensity environment and ownership-driven work
