With a strong track-record of Value Creation across a variety of sectors (Energy, HealthTech, Software & FinTech), the firm are looking for a seasoned AI Director to act as the Emerging Tech Operating Partner.

The Role:

* Defining and owning the AI transformation strategy across the portfolio, aligned to the firm’s investment philosophy

* Identifying high-impact AI, advanced analytics, and automation use cases across functions such as revenue, operations, finance, and customer experience

* Partnering with deal teams during diligence to assess AI maturity, data readiness, and value creation potential

* Leading AI programmes from concept through to deployment, ensuring measurable ROI and sustainable adoption

* Acting as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives at portfolio companies, translating complex AI concepts into practical business outcomes

* Establishing governance, ethical AI standards, and best-practice operating models across the portfolio

* Staying at the forefront of AI trends and vendor ecosystems relevant to mid-market and large-scale businesses

The Candidate:

* Proven experience leading AI, data, or digital transformation initiatives at scale, ideally within Private Equity, consulting, or complex multi-business environments

* Strong understanding of AI, machine learning, advanced analytics, and automation technologies, with the ability to link them to commercial outcomes

* Experience working with senior stakeholders, including investment professionals, Boards, and C-suite executives

* Track record of driving change across organisations with varying levels of digital maturity

* Commercial mindset with a clear focus on value creation, ROI, and scalability

* Ability to operate hands-on while also setting strategic direction

* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence across technical and non-technical audiences
