AI Solution Architect – Enterprise GenAI Architecture (OpenAI / Agents / Secure Integration)

Summary

AI Solution Architects design the secure, scalable, enterprise-grade architecture that enables OpenAI-powered systems to run reliably in real customer environments. This role sets standards for integration, governance, evaluation, observability, and deployment patterns—balancing speed with safety and compliance.

Architects ensure customers start with the right system design, not expensive rework.

Key Responsibilities

1.Enterprise GenAI Architecture Design

• Design end-to-end architectures for ChatGPT Enterprise, API-based apps, and agents

• Define patterns for RAG, tool calling, orchestration, memory/state, and multi-agent flows

• Make explicit tradeoffs across latency, cost, security, and reliability

2. Security, Governance & Compliance by Design

• Ensure architecture aligns to enterprise security requirements (SSO, RBAC, data boundaries)

• Define governance controls: logging, auditability, policy enforcement, privacy handling

• Support regulated environments with clear control planes and risk mitigations

3. Evaluation, Observability & Production Readiness

• Define evaluation harnesses and quality gates (accuracy, hallucinations, failure modes)

• Implement observability patterns: telemetry, monitoring, alerts, incident playbooks

• Ensure deployment architectures are production-ready, not demo-ready

4. Technical Workshops & Design Reviews

• Lead architecture discovery sessions and technical design reviews

• Provide reference architectures, implementation guides, and reusable templates

• Partner with AI Success Engineers and FDEs to ensure build aligns with design

What Success Looks Like (6–12 months)

• Multiple customers reuse a standard, secure reference architecture

• Deployment cycles shorten due to fewer architecture/security rework loops

• Evals and observability become default—not optional

• Stakeholders trust the platform as enterprise-grade

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years in enterprise architecture, cloud/platform engineering, or systems design

• Strong experience with API integration, identity, security, and data systems

• Familiarity with GenAI design patterns (RAG, agents, evals, tool use)

• Ability to communicate complex architecture tradeoffs clearly

Strongly Preferred

• Experience architecting GenAI in regulated environments

• Hands-on work with OpenAI APIs / agentic platforms

• Experience with enterprise connectors, knowledge systems, and governance frameworks

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with agent frameworks and orchestration patterns

• Experience with vector databases and enterprise search

• Experience implementing evaluation pipelines and observability for AI systems

Pay Range Minimum: $ 2000000 per Year

Pay Range Maximum: $ 240000 Per Year

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.
