AI Solutions Architect (Contractor)

Job Details

* Location: Phoenix, AZ (Local candidates only)

* Work Model: 100% Remote (after Day 1 equipment pickup)

Core Responsibilities

* Architect and implement secure, scalable AI and Agentic AI solutions.

* Design end-to-end AI ecosystems including RAG pipelines, LLM orchestration, human-in-the-loop workflows, and AI agent frameworks.

* Collaborate with internal AI teams, vendors, cybersecurity, DevOps, and data teams.

* Lead architecture documentation and technical governance.

* Ensure compliance with PII, HIPAA, CJIS, Arizona State security, and accessibility standards.

* Build explainable, auditable, and ethical AI systems.

* Support enterprise AI strategy and roadmap initiatives.

Required Technical Skills

* AI Expertise: Agentic AI, Azure OpenAI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Machine Learning, RAG architectures.

* Development Background: .NET (C#, VB.NET), HTML, JavaScript.

* Automation: OCR, IDP, AI/ML tooling.

* Design & Delivery: Experience designing solutions from business/technical requirements; creating architecture artifacts, technical specifications, and system designs.

* Soft Skills: Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to analyze existing codebases.

Preferred Skills

* Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines

* REST & SOAP APIs

* Agile/Scrum/SAFe/Kanban methodologies

* SDLC and ITIL processes

* OnBase Unity Client

* Mentoring and technical leadership experience
