Position: SWE/LLM Superuser

Type: Contract

Compensation: $42/hour

Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

* Evaluate and improve AI model outputs in complex software engineering tasks.

* Develop and refine prompt engineering techniques, including chain-of-thought and few-shot methods.

* Build and optimize agentic systems with tool-calling loops and multi-step reasoning pipelines.

* Manage context effectively using RAG, chunking, and vector search to prevent degradation.

* Critically assess model outputs, identifying hallucinations and subtle failures.

* Work independently and asynchronously to enhance AI model performance.

Qualifications

Must-Have

* 4+ years professional software engineering experience.

* Strong proficiency in at least two languages (Python, TypeScript, Go, Rust, etc.).

* Comfortable with APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, and application logic.

* Expert command of prompt engineering and context management.
