AI & Power Platform Lead

Location: Remote (Select U.S. Locations)

Compensation: $100,000–$130,000 base salary

The Role

We are hiring an AI & Power Platform Lead to establish and scale a Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Microsoft Power Platform and AI capabilities across the organization. This role blends hands-on technical delivery with strategic leadership, enabling teams to adopt AI safely and effectively while accelerating automation and low-code innovation.

This is a highly visible role reporting to the CIO and partnering closely with technology, data, security, and business stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

AI Strategy & Enablement

* Help define and execute the organization’s AI adoption roadmap aligned with business outcomes.

* Design and build AI agents, workflows, and prompt-engineered solutions to automate and enhance business processes.

* Establish governance models for responsible AI use, including security, compliance, and ethical AI principles.

* Evaluate and integrate tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI services, and AI Foundry into enterprise solutions.

* Build and lead a Centre of Excellence, driving standards, reusable components, and best practices.

Power Platform Leadership

* Design and deliver end-to-end solutions using Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven), Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.

* Manage and evolve governance using the Power Platform CoE Toolkit.

* Integrate Power Platform with Microsoft 365, Salesforce, NetSuite, GTM systems, and other enterprise platforms.

* Develop scalable apps, connectors, and automation flows used across the business.

Collaboration & Delivery

* Lead discovery workshops, requirements gathering, and solution design sessions.

* Partner with business teams to identify AI- and automation-driven transformation opportunities.

* Support UAT, deployment, training, and post-go-live optimization.

Compliance & Documentation

* Document AI architectures, workflows, security roles, and governance frameworks.

* Ensure all solutions meet accessibility, security, and regulatory requirements.

What We’re Looking For

Required

* 7+ years in IT or engineering roles, with 3+ years focused on Power Platform, data, and AI.

* Proven, hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform solutions in production environments.

* Hands-on experience developing AI agents, workflows, and prompt engineering.

* Experience managing Power Platform using the CoE Toolkit.

* Strong understanding of AI governance, ethical AI, and enterprise security.

* Experience integrating Power Platform and AI with enterprise systems (Salesforce, SharePoint, APIs).

* Excellent stakeholder engagement, business analysis, and agile delivery experience.

* Microsoft Power Platform certifications (PL-100, PL-200, PL-400, PL-600) strongly preferred.

Preferred

* Experience leading cross-functional AI or automation initiatives.

* Strong low-code governance and ALM best practices.

* Experience with GitHub/Bitbucket and Azure DevOps.

* Knowledge of delivery frameworks such as PRINCE2, ITIL, or GDS.

* Familiarity with GDPR, AI regulatory frameworks, and compliance-driven environments.
