AI/ML Solution Architect – Remote Contract Consultant 📍 Remote | 🇨🇦 Canada | 6-Month Contract (Minimum) | $60–$80/hr CAD -150Hrs a month

The Role We're looking for a seasoned AI/ML Solution Architect to join us as a remote contract consultant. You'll work across client engagements including a major Canadian healthcare institution, designing and implementing end-to-end AI/ML solutions that drive real-world impact. This is a minimum 6-month contract with strong potential for extension based on performance and project needs.

What You'll Work On

* Designing and deploying machine learning and predictive modelling solutions for healthcare and other industries

* Building Generative AI applications using LLMs, RAG pipelines, and OpenAI/LangChain frameworks

* Architecting scalable data pipelines and cloud-based ML infrastructure

* Developing Computer Vision and NLP solutions tailored to client needs

* Collaborating with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders to translate complex business problems into AI-driven solutions

What We're Looking For

* 5+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML architecture and delivery

* Strong proficiency with OpenAI APIs, LangChain, and RAG-based architectures

* Solid experience on AWS, Azure, or GCP (cloud-native ML deployments)

* Experience working in or with healthcare environments is a strong asset

* Familiarity with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR) and privacy regulations (PIPEDA, PHIPA) is an asset

* Proven ability to work independently and manage client-facing engagements

* Strong communication skills — you can explain AI to both technical and non-technical audiences

* Experience in a consulting or contract environment is a strong asset

* Must be legally eligible to work in Canada

Contract Details

* 💰 $60–$80/hr CAD (commensurate with experience)

* ⏱ Minimum 150 hours/month

* 📅 6-month initial contract, with extensions based on performance and project requirements

* 🌐 Fully remote — open to candidates across Canada
