AI / ML Engineer

2. About the Opportunity:

The AI / ML Engineer will develop and deploy AI and machine learning applications that leverage cloud and on-premise infrastructure. This role is essential for integrating generative AI models and foundational AI techniques into practical, production-ready solutions. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize deployment processes and enhance AI monitoring, ensuring reliable and transparent model performance that supports mission-critical government projects.

3. Responsibilities:

• Develop AI applications and systems using cloud AI services and on-prem pipelines with production readiness

• Apply generative AI models within end-to-end solutions

• Implement solutions involving deep learning, neural networks, chatbots, and image processing

• Collaborate to standardize model deployment strategies, including tooling, CI/CD, and testing

• Integrate AI monitoring into project observability to maintain model transparency and reliability

4. Requirements:

• Hands-on experience building and deploying AI/ML applications using cloud-based AI services

• Strong knowledge of production-ready pipelines for cloud or on-prem environments

• Practical experience with generative AI models in real-world applications

• Familiarity with AI/ML techniques such as deep learning, neural networks, chatbots, or image processing

Preferred:

• Experience designing or contributing to model deployment strategies (tooling, CI/CD, testing, validation)

• Experience integrating AI/ML monitoring into observability platforms

• Exposure to enterprise-scale AI/ML operations and collaboration with cross-functional platform teams

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• The pay range for this position in specific states and cities is $70,500—$136,700 USD

• Compensation varies based on location, role, skill set, and experience
