Job Title: AI/ML Engineer — AI Governance Platform

About the role

We've built an AI governance platform that helps enterprises enforce safety, compliance, and oversight when deploying AI models like Claude. The enforcement happens at the infrastructure layer — that's where real control lives.

As an AI/ML Engineer at Boundary AI, you'll:

* Build governance intelligence: Design and implement ML systems that detect policy violations, flag unsafe outputs, and provide comprehensive audit trails for enterprise customers

* Work with LLM integrations at scale: Build pipelines that integrate AI models efficiently.

What we're looking for:

* Solid foundation in ML — you understand embeddings, classification, anomaly detection, or similar concepts

* Comfort with APIs and integrations (REST, async systems, streaming data)

* Proficiency in Python, Go, or similar production language

* You've built systems that run in production and cared about latency, reliability, and correctness

* Genuine interest in AI safety and governance (expertise not required, curiosity required)

* Self-directed — you identify problems and solve them without constant supervision

Nice to have:

* Experience with LLM applications or prompt engineering

* Familiarity with compliance, audit, or security systems

* Background in enterprise risk management

* Open source contributions
