Role: ML/AI Architect

Experience Level: 7+ years experience

Work Location: USA/Canada (Remote)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Senior ML/AI Architect to lead the design and production deployment of enterprise-grade, multi-agent AI systems. In this role, you will define end-to-end architectures for agentic solutions that are scalable, secure, well-governed, and compliant with enterprise and regulatory standards. You will play a critical role in translating experimental agent prototypes into robust, production-ready platforms that deliver measurable business value. You will establish architectural standards, testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and operational best practices while guiding engineering teams through implementation, deployment, and long-term system evolution. Acting as both a technical leader and trusted advisor, you will collaborate closely with customers, product teams, and business stakeholders to shape sustainable AI architectures and support their broader AI transformation journeys.

Key Responsibilities:

* Custom Feature Development: Design and implement new, customer-specific functionality within our core PHP application.

* Legacy Code Optimization: Maintain and refactor "old-school" procedural and object-oriented PHP code to improve performance and maintainability.

* Database Management: Write complex SQL queries, optimize schemas, and manage data integrity across PostgreSQL and MySQL environments.

* Multi-Instance Deployment: Work within an AWS-based architecture where you will help manage and deploy code to unique customer environments.

* Security-First Coding: Since we do not use a framework, you will be responsible for manually implementing security best practices (e.g., preventing SQL injection, XSS, and CSRF).

* Collaboration: Partner with project managers and the core dev team to ensure customizations align with the long-term product roadmap.

Basic Qualifications:

* Proficiency in LangGraph and LangChain for agentic workflows

* Deep technical experience across the AI spectrum from traditional ML and deep learning to Generative AI and agentic AI

* Hands-on experience with autonomous agent frameworks and developing multi-agent systems.

* Must have experience with AWS or Azure (LLM hosting, GPU-based inference, costoptimization).

* Experience managing large-scale AI projects leveraging LLMs

* Understanding of governance frameworks (e.g., AI Ethics, Explainability, Risk Mitigation).

* Experience mentoring, and leading teams

* Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills
