AI Engineer - Working Student (m/w/d)

At Bavest, you're not building demo projects, you're working on infrastructure that powers real clients like eToro, Tradegate and other financial institutions. We're a lean fintech team building the data backbone for banks, brokers, and asset managers across Europe and beyond.

As a Working Student, you'll work directly with our CTO on the Bavest API, processing billions of financial data points, building scalable pipelines, and shipping features that institutional clients depend on daily.

What You'll Do

* Build and maintain backend services for our financial data API

* Integrate and process large-scale financial and alternative datasets

* Optimize API performance, scalability, and reliability

* Participate in code reviews and technical discussions with the core team

What We're Looking For

* Strong Python skills (3.x)

* Interest in financial data, APIs, or data infrastructure

* Familiarity with AWS or GCP is a plus

* You ship things, ask questions, and don't wait to be told what to do
