About The Company

Abu Dhabi-based investment firm, focusing on high-growth sectors across the GCC, it operates in agriculture, technology, mobility, hospitality, and aviation.

Job Description

The AI Product Engineer (Agentic SDLC / Codex-Orchestrated Delivery) anchors end-to-end delivery of software products through an AI-informed, document-driven process. Working with business units and security teams, this role converts strategic needs into precise specifications and coordinates the orchestration of AI coding agents to generate production-grade software. It includes architectural validation, output verification for correctness and security, and ensuring end-to-end traceability from requirements to tests.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead AI-ready requirement elicitation and translate business aims into actionable design artifacts that include BRD, user journeys, stories, acceptance criteria, and defined non-goals.

* Maintain a comprehensive requirements traceability framework linking requirements to design, code, and test artifacts.

* Draft and sustain HLD and TDD documents, outlining system boundaries, data flows, API contracts, and integration patterns.

* Capture architecture decisions in ADRs and uphold a Definition of Done aligned with non-functional requirements.

* Convert specifications into agent-operable work orders, map dependencies, and establish clear input/output contracts with guardrails and verification steps.

* Coordinate multi-agent orchestration across UI, backend, data stores, and integrations; run iterative reviews to control scope and drive clarity.

* Oversee coding quality and security checks, enforce testing gates, and ensure production readiness through observability and runbooks.

* Provide transparent status updates, risk assessments, and governance artifacts; manage scope changes via formal documentation.

* Prepare for releases with comprehensive documentation, demos, rollout plans, and post-release validation.

Requirements

* Advanced software engineering proficiency across architecture, APIs, data modeling, concurrency, testing strategies, and code review discipline.

* Proven experience delivering and operating production systems, diagnosing incidents, performance issues, and integration failures in live environments.

* Strong command of modern stacks, CI/CD, version control, environment lifecycle, and release governance; ability to assess production readiness.

* Expertise in database design, migrations, indexing, transactions, and safe handling of edge cases (idempotency, deduplication, race conditions).

* Proficiency in integration engineering, including contract-first API design, error modeling, retries, timeouts, circuit breaking, and observability for external services.

* Hands-on experience with AI coding tools and agent-based workflows (e.g., Codex-style delivery) with judgment to validate outputs, detect hallucinations, enforce architecture, and guide implementations to design intent.

* Ability to translate business requirements into precise execution interfaces, document ADRs concisely, and ensure alignment across delivery.

Nice-to-Have: Security/privacy knowledge, DevOps/Platform familiarity, product/UX sensitivity, and experience building engineering processes/playbooks.

Benefits

* Competitive contractor compensation aligned with market standards.

* Opportunity to shape AI-enabled internal tooling with high visibility.

* On-site position in Abu Dhabi with room for team expansion and future roles.

Other

Note: Government security clearance and local regulatory compliance are prerequisites. Eligibility for clearance and a typical timeline of about four weeks should be anticipated.
