AI Engineer (Full-stack)

We are seeking a skilled "AI Engineer" with expertise in using cutting-edge AI development tools, agent-based workflows such as Claude, Codex, and other AI-assisted engineering technologies.
This role requires experience in designing, building, and modernizing both backend systems and frontend applications while leveraging AI tools to accelerate development, improve architecture, and enhance product delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience building scalable enterprise applications and creating ultra-modern, high-quality UI/UX experiences for complex business platforms.
This is a long-term contract position that is primarily remote. However, candidate should be willing to occasionally attend the office in Toronto, ON for Client meetings.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Bachelor’s degree with more than 4 years of AI development experience
* Strong full stack development experience across frontend and backend technologies
* Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools and coding agents such as tools such as Claude, Codex etc.
* Strong frontend engineering skills with focus on modern enterprise UI/UX
* Experience building scalable APIs and backend systems
* Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures and modern development practices
* Experience working in agile development environments
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with benefits administration, HRTech, FinTech, or enterprise SaaS platforms
* Experience designing highly configurable or multi-tenant enterprise applications
* Familiarity with modern AI engineering workflows and autonomous development agents
* Experience with React, Node.js, TypeScript, Python, or similar modern stacks
* Experience deploying applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP
