Applied AI Engineer - London (Hybrid)

An AI startup building infrastructure that allows AI agents to operate inside real enterprise workflows are looking for an Applied AI Engineer to join their fast growing team.

What will I be doing?

* Designing and building production-grade AI agent systems

* Developing multi-step agent workflows that interact with real-world APIs and enterprise tools

* Turning third-party APIs into typed action schemas that agents can reason over and execute

* Improving reliability, observability, and failure handling in agent pipelines

* Building evaluation frameworks to measure and improve agent performance

* Working closely with the CTO to shape architecture and technical direction

What we’re looking for:

* Experience building production AI/agent systems

* Strong Python backend engineering experience

* Experience working with APIs, integrations, and workflow automation

* Familiarity with agent frameworks (LangGraph, LangChain, or similar)

* Experience with structured LLM outputs (Pydantic / JSON schema / validation)

* Engineers who enjoy building from the ground up in an early-stage startup
