Our challenge

We are seeking an AI Engineer with deep expertise in Generative AI, neural networks, and transfer learning to support a strategic data analytics platform. This role will lead the design and development of cutting-edge ML models and architectures involving zero-shot/few-shot learning and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).

The Role

Responsibilities:

* Develop agentic frameworks tailored for capital markets use cases, including summarization, conversational AI, and information extraction.

* Embed and operationalize Generative AI tools and frameworks within existing capital markets platforms to enhance user experiences for personas such as Research analysts, Banking professionals, Sales teams, and Trading desks.

* Lead end-to-end development of AI/ML models, from experimentation and evaluation to deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

* Guide the team on best practices, conduct code reviews, and ensure the technical excellence of AI solutions.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, data engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver impactful AI-driven solutions.

* Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in NLP, deep learning, and generative AI, and incorporate relevant innovations.

Requirements:

You are:

* PhD or master’s degree in computer science, Machine Learning, Deep Learning or equivalent experience

* 5+ years of experience building Deep Learning or Machine Learning models.

* In depth knowledge of Machine Learning , deep learning and Generative AI.

* Ability to function as the primary contributor building Generative AI solutions alongside the team while guiding the rest of the team on best practices, code reviews etc.

* In depth knowledge of Machine Learning, NLP, Information extraction etc.

* Knowledge or understanding of Embeddings, Re-rankers, agentic frameworks etc.

* Knowledge or understanding of Inferencing, fine-tuning, model architectures etc.

* In depth knowledge and experience building front to back AI Operations including experimentation, model evals and model monitoring

* In depth knowledge of Algorithms and Data Structures

* Knowledge of distributed computing

Nice-to-have:

It would be great if you also had:

* Experience working within capital markets or financial services industries.

* Familiarity with legacy system integration and real-time data processing.

* Knowledge of regulatory and compliance considerations related to AI in financial services.

* Experience with cloud platforms and scalable computing architectures.

* Prior experience in productizing AI solutions and managing lifecycle in production.
