Software Engineer – AI Engineer (Full-Time) (m/f/d) in Heilbronn or Munich

About Us

We are Semorai, a young AI startup developing the Engineering AI Suite to support engineers and give them more freedom for innovative solutions. With our agents, we help engineers, for example, analyze specifications faster and optimize processes.

At Semorai, you will work in agent teams and chapters, allowing knowledge to be shared across teams and fostering innovation.

For our offices in Heilbronn or Munich, we are looking for you as a Software Engineer – AI Engineer to actively shape the future of engineering AI together with us.

Your Responsibilities

* Develop and optimize LLM-based AI systems and multi-agent architectures

* Build, orchestrate, and enable communication between agents (A2A)

* Integrate knowledge graphs, vector stores (e.g., Neo4j, QDrant), and databases (SQL/Postgres)

* Develop GRPC/REST APIs and interfaces

* Collaborate with Product Owners, Data Scientists, and development teams

* Handle deployment, orchestration, and ensure performance, scalability, and maintainability

Your Profile

Education:

* Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or similar

* Master’s preferred; Bachelor’s with relevant experience possible

Technical Skills:

* Python for AI/ML applications, LLMs (fine-tuning, inference pipelines, agents)

* Containerization & deployment (Docker, multi-agent systems)

* Software architecture, microservices, and distributed systems

* Data management, knowledge graphs, vector stores, interface development

Personal Strengths:

* Analytical thinking and quick comprehension

* Proactive, solution-oriented approach

* Team player with ownership mentality

* Ability to explain complex technical topics clearly

* Motivation to develop innovative AI solutions from the ground up
