AI Chief Product Officer

They are seeking a visionary Chief AI Product Officer to lead the charge in defining the next generation of AI driven financial products. This role is essential for an organization looking to move beyond isolated AI pilots into a fully integrated, AI first product ecosystem.

Role Overview

The Chief AI Product Officer will serve as the primary architect of the product vision, sitting at the intersection of business strategy, data science, and user experience. This executive will be responsible for the entire AI product roadmap, ensuring that every deployment delivers measurable P&L impact while adhering to the highest standards of model governance and regulatory compliance within the fintech sector.

Key Responsibilities

* Define and execute an enterprise wide AI product strategy that aligns with long term business goals and market opportunities.

* Lead the transition from traditional product frameworks to agentic AI systems, focusing on hyper personalization, automated risk assessment, and intelligent fraud detection.

* Oversee the end to end AI product lifecycle, from initial data strategy and model training to deployment, monitoring, and iterative improvement.

* Establish robust AI governance frameworks to ensure transparency, explainability, and compliance with evolving global fintech regulations (e.g., EU AI Act, CFPB guidelines).

* Collaborate deeply with the CTO and Chief Data Officer to ensure the underlying technical architecture and data pipelines support scalable AI product innovation.

* Drive a culture of "Responsible AI," balancing aggressive innovation with ethical considerations around algorithmic bias and data privacy.

* Act as a key stakeholder in build vs buy decisions regarding LLMs, proprietary models, and third party AI tooling.

* Communicate the AI product vision and ROI clearly to the Board of Directors, investors, and internal cross functional teams.

Qualifications

* Extensive experience in executive product leadership, with a specific focus on AI/ML integration within the fintech or SaaS industries.

* Proven track record of shipping AI driven products that have achieved significant market scale and measurable business outcomes.

* Deep technical literacy in machine learning lifecycles, generative AI, and MLOps, with the ability to bridge the gap between engineering and business.

* Strong understanding of the regulatory landscape for financial services and the specific challenges of AI compliance.

* Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing high performing, hybrid teams of product managers, data scientists, and designers.

* Strategic mindset with the ability to navigate the complexities of a fast evolving technological landscape.
