AI 2030 Editorial Board Member (Volunteer Position)
AI 2030Full Description
Company Description
AI 2030 is a global initiative dedicated to ensuring that artificial intelligence is developed and implemented responsibly to maximize its benefits for humanity while minimizing its risks. Our focus areas include Responsible AI, AI for All, and AI for Good, highlighting our commitment to ethical practices and inclusivity. By addressing gaps in awareness, talent, and resources, we facilitate the adoption of responsible AI practices in both public and private sectors. AI 2030 collaborates with global partners to drive meaningful change and innovation in the rapidly evolving AI landscape.
Our Publications Directorate produces five flagship formats: the annual Flagship Report (survey-based); Working Group Insight Reports (collaborative, co-authored with expert communities); Global Briefings (rapid-response, individual-contributor analyses); Case Studies (2–5 page practitioner-facing narratives); and Special Reports (proceedings, calls for papers, event summaries). The Editorial Board is the intellectual governance body that ensures the quality, independence, and strategic coherence of this entire portfolio.
Role Purpose
The Editorial Board Member is a senior volunteer steward of AI 2030's intellectual integrity and reputational authority. Board members bring independent expert judgment to the organisation's publications strategy and serve as a link between AI 2030 and the broader scholarly, policy, and practitioner communities from which they are drawn.
Editorial Board Members are expected to engage substantively with AI 2030's publication pipeline, contribute critical review at key production milestones, and, where appropriate, lend their expertise and networks to strengthening individual publications. The Board's imprimatur signals to the world that AI 2030's publications meet the highest standards of evidence, rigour, and independence.
