Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for an Accountant. As an integral member of the team, the Accountant will manage financial transactions, prepare balance sheets and income statements, analyze financial data, ensure compliance with relevant regulations, and work collaboratively to provide insights into the company’s financial performance. Additional responsibilities include overseeing budgeting, processing payroll, reconciling accounts, and identifying opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications

* Strong accounting skills, including preparation of financial statements, reconciliations, and expense reporting

* Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and cost management

* Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or equivalent systems

* Knowledge of tax regulations, compliance, and financial reporting standards

* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

* Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and contribute to team goals

* Professional certification like CPA or CMA is a plus

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required

* Previous experience in startup or tech industries is a plus
